It's too bad that this is basketball and not baseball. Even if the Lakers win Game 5 they still have to go back to Boston where the Celtics are almost unbeatable.They're not coming back.

It is possible but i dont see it happening. They will most likely win game 5 but I cant see the Lakers winning 3 in a row against the Celtics. The big 3 are too good and will find a way to win another game. Everyone talks about how Kobe can take over a game down the stretch but the Celtics have 3 players that can take over a game down the stretch especially Paul Pierce.
Put history aside. If the Lakers play great and everyone is clicking like in the first half then the Lakers I believe will win. I doubt this to happen.

Phil Jackson has to coach better. Kobe has to drive it to the hoop. Vujacic and Fisher have to get open for the 3. Gasol needs to get easy points in the paint and maybe get Garnett in foul trouble. Odom and Gasol have to make their freethrows. Odom has to make his shots. They have to stop Ray Allen 3's and can't let Pierce catch on fire. Lakers can't let players like Eddie House and Leon Powe beat them

if the lakers win game 5, then kobe may be able to win game 6 on his own. then that would put a lot of pressure on boston to avoid a yankees 2004 style collapse in game 7. it's highly unlikely, but not entirely impossible as some would suggest
Well, certainly the Lakers can, in fact, everything is possible. However, as a Lakers fan, I dont think they can because I truly know that Bostons is too good, in fact, I give them credits for that. But no matter what, Im still rooting for the Lakers till the end...
